Autumn Open House at Frykman Studio Gallery

The Frykman Studio Gallery of Sister Bay will host an autumn open house with carving demonstrations, drawings, live music, and refreshments Columbus Day Weekend and Fall Festival weekend. The open house will be held from 10 am – 5 pm, Oct. 9 and 10; and 10 am – 7 pm, Oct. 16 and 17.

New Door County nature photography by Lucas and Heather Frykman will be on display, along with pottery and wall sculptures by Steve Jorgenson and woodcarvings and paintings by David Frykman.

David Frykman will demonstrate the tools and techniques he uses when carving his unique brand of whimsical characters and critters, both Saturdays, weather permitting, from 1:30 – 3:30 pm.

From 4 – 7 pm on Oct. 16, folk singer/songwriter Jess Holland will perform. The evening will also feature refreshments and drawings for photography and carvings.
