Barn Dances Return

The Door County Folk Alliance will resume public barn dances Oct. 29, 7-9 pm, at the Kress Pavilion, 7845 Church St. in Egg Harbor. There is no fee, but donations are welcome.

Caller Tim Jenkins will lead participants through circle and long-line dances, explaining the steps and providing directions. All levels of dancers are welcome, but children should be at least 8 years old and able to follow the instructions on their own. The Sugar on the Floor Barn Dance Orchestra will provide live music.

Hand sanitizer will be available. The event will take place unless the county is under a red COVID advisory that week. Get updates at facebook.com/DCFolkAlliance.
