Barney Fun Run in Sister Bay April 28

The Sister Bay Bowl hosts the second annual Barney Fun Run Saturday, April 28. Check-in is at 10 am with the run/walk beginning at 11:15 am.

The run honors Barney Willems, Sister Bay’s own Forrest Gump who runs every day in almost any kind of weather. Barney’s positive attitude in the face of physical challenges is an inspiration to all who know him.

Registration for the run is $30 and includes a t-shirt designed by Baileys Harbor artist Katie Hohmann and a complimentary drink from the Sister Bay Bowl. Proceeds will be donated to a charity of Barney’s choice. Register at barneyfunrun.com.
