Bear Suit Sucker Punch Returns to Rock Steel Bridge

Bear Suit Sucker Punch will be bringing their high-energy punk rock back to Door County this summer at Steel Bridge Songfest. The band is set to perform June 8 at the Hard Rock Stage along with other local and regional acts.

“We had a blast playing last year!” said drummer Tyler Montgomery. “We are very excited to be a part of the cause again and see all of our friends from last summer.”

Bear Suit Sucker Punch is Drew Nunes (bass/vocals), Hans Emanuelson (guitar/vocals), and Tyler Montgomery (drums). They are known for their fast and fun live shows and no-nonsense punk rock music. The often-eclectic sound comes from the diversity within the band, with members from Brazil, Canada, and Wisconsin.

Bear Suit Sucker Punch first learned about Steel Bridge Songfest through Emanuelson, a Door County native. Last fall the band made a new home in Austin, Texas, “The Live Music Capitol of the World,” where they have spent the last eight months playing many shows and recording new music.
