Beers and Bikes in Baileys Harbor June 18

Baileys Harbor will be a mecca for bike and beer lovers Saturday, June 18, as the Door County Beer Festival and Peninsula Century Spring Classic bike ride come to town.

More than 800 cyclists are expected to take part in routes of 25, 50, 62, and 100 miles, starting and ending at the Cornerstone Pub. Cyclists may still register on-site Friday night from 5 – 8 pm, and Saturday morning from 6:30 am to 9 am. Registration will take place at the festival grounds behind Lakeshore Adventures and Cornerstone Pub.

A thousand beer lovers are expected to swarm the town to sample from more than 221 different craft beers, more than 100 of them from Wisconsin breweries, at the 5th annual Door County Beer Festival Saturday. Gates open for general admission attendees at noon.

The festival features a wide variety of styles, including stouts, IPAs, lagers, several different ciders and specialty fruit beers from small craft breweries.

Mama Digdown’s Brass Band and Dirty Deuce will supply music all afternoon. Tickets to the beer fest are available for $40 online, and $45 at the gate.
