Sue and Joe Jarosh recently returned from their annual spring trip to visit the Amish and brought back more than 120 new Amish quilts. This time of year is the best time to shop for these quilts because the selection is at its best. The detailed hand stitching in the Amish quilts is unsurpassed, and these heirloom quality pieces are all machine washable in a front-loading machine. Many are used for wall hangings and are recognized as works of art.
The Craft Cottage also features the work and handcrafted gifts of more than 40 local Door County artists.
Jacksonport Craft Cottage, now open 9 am – 5 pm daily, is located at 6275 Highway 57 in Jacksonport. For more information visit jacksonportcraftcottage.com.
