Bike the Back Roads

From Gills Rock to Cave Point County Park and all places in between, cyclists will take to the county’s less-travelled back roads on June 16 for the 23rd annual Ride for Nature to benefit The Ridges Sanctuary.

While close to 500 cyclists have pre-registered for the 15, 25, 50, 62 or 100-mile routes, registration will be available onsite at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall on June 15 from 5 – 8 pm and on June 16 from 6:30 am – 9:30 am.

Post-ride festivities will mingle with the Door County Beer Festival, an event partner, on the grounds of the town hall. Door County musicians Big Mouth, Memphis pickers Eric Lewis & Tommy Burroughs, and Brooklyn-based Tumbling Bones will take to the stage with their eclectic sounds throughout the afternoon.
