Billy Jonas to Perform at TAP

Beginning Jan. 22, StageKids offers a theatre lab for middle and high school students. For six weeks, students will meet twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays working with professionals from the Stage Door Theatre Company.

The final class on March 1 will be a public performance by lab students performing pieces worked over the course of the six-week lab. The performance will be filmed and all students will receive a copy of the performance.

Sessions are held on Wednesdays from 4 – 6 pm and Saturdays from 12 – 2 pm. Tuition is $125, scholarships available. To register call 920.743.1760 or stop by Third Avenue Playhouse at 239 N. Third Avenue in Sturgeon Bay between 12 – 5 pm, Tuesday through Friday

On Feb. 1 at 7:30 pm, Third Avenue Playhouse welcomes Billy Jonas to the stage. Billy Jonas is one of those rare performers who can engage and delight both young and adult audiences. His upbeat, engaging presence encourages active audience participation.

Jonas’s CD What Kind of Cat are You?! received multiple awards including a First Place/Gold from AFIM (American Federation of Independent Musicians), and a Parent’s Choice Gold.

Tickets are $25 general admission, $10 students 12 – 24, and $5 for children younger than 11. For every general admission ticket purchased at regular price, you will receive one child’s ticket for free.
