Birch Creek Hosts Night of Jazz during Associates’ Fall Fundraiser

Birch Creek’s dedicated volunteers, known as associates, will present a festive evening of social time, delicious food and great music Oct. 12 to raise funds in support of Birch Creek’s Play It Forward program. Beloved Jazz II Session faculty performers Jeff Campbell on bass, Rick Haydon on guitar and Reggie Thomas on piano will play in the intimate setting of Juniper Hall for the 2019 Associates’ Fall Fundraiser, making a pilgrimage back to Birch Creek to enchant attendees with jazz greats from Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, George and Ira Gershwin, and more. Expect a delightful evening of laughter, fellowship and music to nourish the soul.

The event will begin at 5:30 pm with social time. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will follow at 6 pm, and the concert performance will begin at 7 pm. Alexander’s of Door County will cater the food. Purchase tickets – $65 per person – at birchcreek.org/tickets or by calling 920.868.3763. Advance purchase is recommended because the concert tends to sell out. All proceeds will benefit Birch Creek students.
