Lure, Grasse’s Reopening April 27

It’s the season of reopenings in northern Door County. LURE, 10627 N. Bay Shore Dr. in Sister Bay, will open its doors for the season April 27, featuring small plates, sushi, fresh fish and seafood, hand-cut steaks and artisan cocktails. Reservations are now available. 

Grasse’s, 10663 N. Bay Shore Dr. in Sister Bay, will also reopen April 27 at 11 am.

Von Stiehl Taps into New Cider

In the mood for cider? Check out the new strawberry–rhubarb pie cider from von Stiehl that tastes like a freshly made strawberry-rhubarb pie. It is not available in bottles, but you can get it by the glass or growler in the Cider Bar. 

Visitors can also try a wine-and-cheese or wine-and-chocolate seated pairing for $12 until the end of May at von Stiehl Winery, 115 Navarino St. in Algoma.

Alexander’s Will Be Closed April 28

Alexander’s Restaurant will be closed to the public Friday, April 28, as the family of Peter Collins celebrates his life. The Collins and Alexander families invite all of Peter’s family and friends to visit the restaurant that day, 1-5 pm, to remember him. 

Alexander’s, 3667 Hwy 42 in Fish Creek, will reopen for dinner on Saturday, April 29.
