BLACK VIOLIN TAKES DCA STAGE APRIL 5

Black Violin

On April 5, 7 pm, Door Community Auditorium (DCA) will present the classical/hip-hop duo Black Violin.

Led by classically trained violist Wil B. and violinist Kev Marcus, Black Violin fuses R&B, soul, rock, hip-hop and classical styles with astonishing results. Black Violin stands at the vanguard of the “classical boom” movement, a classical/hip-hop hybrid that invites people of all ages, races and economic backgrounds to break down cultural barriers.

Sponsorship support from Al Johnson’s and the Peninsula Pulse make it possible for the DCA to offer free tickets to Door County band, theater and choir students, as well as $10 tickets for school staff, students and accompanying family members.

Tickets range from $28 to $48 and are still available. Purchase tickets online at dcauditorium.org, by phone at 920.868.2728 or in person at the DCA box office, 3926 Hwy 42 in Fish Creek. Read about the DCA’s COVID-19 protocols at dcauditorium.org.
