Boys Basketball: Clippers Downed by Storm

Sturgeon Bay’s boys basketball team stayed close with the Packerland Conference’s second-place team before losing at home Monday night to Kewaunee, 60-54. 

The Clippers, who trailed 32-30 at halftime, were led by Jackson Starr with 14 points. Danny Lodl added 10 points.

Thomas Stangel led the Storm with a game-high 32 points, followed by Braxton Riha with 14 points.

Sturgeon Bay, which dropped to 9-6 in the conference and 12-11 overall, closes out the regular season at home Thursday with a league game against NEW Lutheran.

Kewaunee (13-2, 16-7) closes out the regular season at home Thursday with a league game against Algoma.
