Bridge Removed at Crossroads

Crossroads at Big Creek is replacing its Pike Passage Bridge – work that’s done during the winter to minimize land disturbance and avoid the spring fish spawning. The original structure was removed Feb. 8, and the area around the bridge will be closed for construction until further notice. 

The work is part of a multiyear restoration initiative to protect the creek and wetland systems. The other two bridges at Crossroads were removed, replaced and dedicated last spring.
