Briggsville Gardens to Offer Garden Tours

Since 1990, Tammy and Richard Briggs’s love of horticulture has transformed gardens all over Door County. Now, they have created their own unique, privately owned gardens that will be available for self-guided and guided tours. The gardens include the following: formal rose garden, Southwest succulent cacti garden, woodland walks, white wedding garden, living art (sculptured trees), and a Koi pond complete with waterfalls and an Oriental red bridge.

Self-guided tours are $5 per person and guided tours are $12 per person with an 8-person minimum; reservations required for guided tours.

Nestled among the gardens is The Orchid Inn, opened by the Briggs’ in 2009. Self-guided tours are free with a room stay.
