“Buckets of Rain” Dylan Tribute Returns to Woodwalk Aug. 2-4

Buckets of Rain is returning to Woodwalk Concert Series for a three night run Aug 2nd, 3rd and 4th at 7 pm. This is the third rendition of the companys choice of favorite Bob Dylan songs for the review. This performance includes nine songs new to the review as wall as past favorites like, “Knocking on Heavens Door,” “Lay Lady Lay,” “The Times They are a Changing,” “Rainy Day Women,” “My Back Pages,” and many more. Eric Lewis is a brilliant multi-instrumentalist from Memphis, TN. One of the best flat pickers in the country, he plays lap steel, mandolin, guitars of all kinds, and trumpet!

Katie Dahl is an award-winning singer songwriter and playwright known for an incredible alto voice, the literate candor of her songs and easy humor of live performances. Her songs have hit #1 on the Folk-DJ charts, time and time again.

Jeanne Kuhns of the band Small Forest is known for her expressive voice and lyrical songwriting. Her songs have been played on Simply Folk , WDCB Folk Festival and she was voted best female musician in Door County Magazine 2008.

Chris Irwin, arriving from California, is well known to Door County as an American Folklore Theatre veteran and for his songwriting and multi instrumental skills and movie productions. He was in the Atlanta Premier of the Johnny Cash show “Ring of Fire.”

Rich Higdon is a multi-instrumentalist playing bass, drums, wash board, sink, and a mean kazoo with Katie Dahl and the WaterStreet Hotshots.

Partrick Palmer, bass player, started out with Rock and Roll back in the day and later moved to Bluegrass. He performed with Lost Mothra and now with Small Forest as well as many musicians that travel thru the Door. Palmer runs Wired For Sound.

The show starts at 7pm each night Aug 2nd,3rd and 4th. Call to reserve an outside table if you want to bring your picnic dinner at 5:30 before the show. Drinks and treats will be for sale. Woodwalk Gallery is at 6746 County G a bit south of Egg Harbor, one mile off Hwy 42. Tickets are $20 cash at the door, no credit cards no checks.
