Burroughs and Smith Bring Soulful Harmonies to County Stages

(Left to right) Tommy Burroughs and Eddie Smith will perform three times over Labor Day weekend.

Multi-instrumentalist Tommy Burroughs and fellow Memphis musician, Eddie Smith, will take Door County stages by storm throughout Labor Day weekend.

Seen in Door County most recently in “Buckets of Rain,” Burroughs is an accomplished songwriter and one of the most respected multi-instrumentalists in the Memphis area. He is also the seven-time winner of the NARAS Premier String Player Award. Burroughs’ fiddle, mandolin, and guitar playing perfectly fit with the sound of Memphis-born Smith.

Smith and Burroughs promise a show filled with soulful harmonies, heartfelt songs, and plenty of guitar twangin’ and string bendin’.

Labor Day weekend shows include: Aug. 31, 5 – 7 pm at the Baileys Harbor concerts in the park series at the Town Hall; Sept. 1, 7 – 10 pm at The Cookery in Fish Creek; and Sept. 2, they will perform the intermission set at the last Fishstock concert of the season, featuring Eric Lewis & Friends.
