Ring in the New Year with Eddie Smith & Tommy Burroughs

Memphis musician Eddie Smith and multi-instrumentalist Tommy Burroughs are making their first winter appearance in Door County to ring in the New Year. With three chances to see them (Dec. 28, 30 & 31), there is no excuse not to catch this duo in action.

Burroughs is an accomplished songwriter and one of the most respected multi-instrumentalists in the Memphis area and seven-time winner of the NARAS Premier String Player Award. Burroughs’ fiddle, mandolin, and guitar playing are a slick fit to the sound of Smith.

Born on the edge of the Mississippi River in Memphis, Smith often found himself riding in a used Cadillac with his dad, heading for the next show – which was either in a church or “honky tonk,” depending on the day.

Smith and Burroughs promise a show with soulful harmonies, heartfelt songs, and a guaranteed delivery of more guitar twangin’ and string bendin’ than the law allows.
