Celebrate the Cherry

The 20th annual Cherry Fest will be held on Aug. 2 from 7 am – 4 pm at Lakeside Park, Hwy 57, Jacksonport. Savor the great food, including fresh cherries, cherry brats, cherry hamburgers, and an assortment of cherry desserts. Stroll through the juried arts and crafts fair or experience a horse-drawn wagon ride. Live music will be playing throughout the day under the big tent. Something new to enjoy is the inaugural car show on display at the Erskine Rest Area. There will also be a penny hunt on the beach for children ages 3 – 8 years. Take a step back in time and tour the Root Cellar in the Erskine Rest Area or check out Jacksonport Family memorabilia. The 20th annual Cherry Fest is sponsored by the Jacksonport Historical Society.
