Celebrate the New Year at Frostbite Open

Nick Kwaterski was the 2012 Frostbite Champion, and was awarded a trophy for best single game.

When everyone is thinking about the holidays, The Red Putter is thinking about mini-golf! The time is near for the Third Annual Frostbite Open at The Red Putter Miniature Golf Course on New Year’s Day.

Brave people come out to battle snow, wind and cold to compete for the honor of being the Frostbite Champion. Two rounds of golf will be played, with hot drinks and chili served to keep players warm.

Registration and practice is held 10 am – 1:45 pm, and play begins at 2 pm. The entry fee is $25.

Prizes include: First Place— $700 (or more); Second Place— $200; Third Place— $100; Best Single Game— $100; trophies for all who place; and owner Bob Yttri usually has some fun hats and scarves up his sleeves too.
