Frostbite Open Returns to Ephraim New Year’s Day

The Red Putter will host the county’s coldest golf tournament, the second annual Frostbite Open, New Year’s Day in Ephraim.

The Ephraim mini golf course will serve hot beverages and chili to keep players warm as they compete for $1,100 in prize money. Sixty-four players competed in last year’s event in 10-degree weather and 30 mile per hour winds.

The open tournament starts at 2 pm and features two rounds of play.
