Celebration of Life for Matthew West on July 17

A Celebration of Life Picnic will be held for Matthew West from 11 am to 3 pm on Sunday, July 17, at Sevastopol Town Park. Matthew, a 15-year-old who had just completed eighth grade at Sevastopol Middle School, died from a strain of meningitis on June 13. Hamburgers and brats will be provided at the picnic, but bring a dish to pass and your own beverages (water will be provided). A memorial presentation will take place at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Matthew’s honor to one of his passions, the SBS Wrestling Club in care of the Sevastopol School District, 4550 Hwy. 57, Sturgeon Bay, 54235.
