Chance to See the Brew Crew

The Door County Maritime Museum is hosting a bus trip to see the Milwaukee Brewers take on the Chicago Cubs on April 27.

Thanks to the convertible roof at Milwaukee’s Miller Park, no rain is in the forecast and temperature conditions are guaranteed to be ideal for this meeting of cross-border baseball rivals.

Brewers’ outfielder Carlos Gomez will be featured on the fan-giveaway bobble head commemorating his 2013 Golden Glove Award. Additionally any fans bringing donations of hats, scarves, mittens or $5 or more for the Brewers Community Foundation will receive a Brewers player collectible pin.

The trip is part of the museum’s continued effort to provide both its membership and guests with educational and fun-based excursions.

The trip includes transportation, a terrace box seat ticket and some light snacks and refreshments. The bus leaves from the Museum in Sturgeon Bay at 9 am, returning after 6 pm. Additional stops will be made at designated park and ride locations. Game time is 1:10 pm. Capacity is 54. The trip will go rain or shine; no refunds.

The cost is $50 for Museum members and $55 for guests. Call 920.743.5958 to reserve a seat. For more information visit dcmm.org.
