Children’s Stage Adventures Seeks 50 Young Actors

Children’s Stage Adventures is returning to Third Avenue Playhouse this fall with a new musical adaptation of The Emperor’s New Clothes. Auditions will be held at 4 pm, Monday, September 29 at Third Avenue Playhouse.

Approximately 50 local children, kindergarten through eighth grade, will be cast to appear in the show with CSA actors, educators, and founders Lorrie and Rob Gray. Performances will take place on Friday, October 3 at 7 pm and Sunday, October 4 at 2 pm.

Set in the frontier town of Royal City, this musical version puts a Western twist on the popular tale by Hans Christian Anderson.

Children planning to audition should arrive by the scheduled start time and plan to stay for the entire two-hour session. No advance preparation is necessary to take part in the auditions.

The first rehearsal will begin about 30 minutes after the auditions. A complete rehearsal schedule will be handed out following the auditions.

Rob and Lorrie Gray’s residency in Sturgeon Bay is made possible by Baylake Bank. For more information, please contact Third Avenue Playhouse at 920.743.1760.
