Chop Closing For Redesign, Lure Opening Early

Two Sister Bay restaurants, Chop and Lure, are set for changes in the coming months.

Chop Restaurant will close for renovations to the bar and dining rooms, starting Sunday, Feb. 11. 

The new look has been designed by Erin Jean and Co., and Tielens Construction will be the general contractor. Reopening is planned for late April to early May with expanded bar and dining seating and new menu features, said Jody Wuolett, owner of Chop and Lure.

The same week Chop closes, Lure Restaurant will reopen earlier than usual – Feb. 14. Lure will serve its regular menu, plus Chop items,  including steaks, popovers and carrot cake. Planned hours are Thursday-Sunday.

Chop is located at 2345 Mill Road, and Lure at 10627 Bay Shore Dr., both in Sister Bay.
