We are looking for a dynamic, people-oriented, sales professional to fill the role of
Media Sales Manager. You will be responsible for prospecting and selling ads for our digital media
and print publications, including the Peninsula Pulse, Door County Living, Pulse
Picks, doorcountypulse.com, and the Door County Pulse Podcast. You will pitch the benefits of
advertising to new and existing clients, negotiate pricing, and communicate client needs to the
design team. Sales experience is not required.
Responsibilities include:

Grow advertising revenue with existing clients and prospect for new clients.
Achieve revenue goals set by the company for existing and new accounts.
Good working knowledge of Peninsula Pulse products and media solutions
Develop and maintain high-level client relationships
Research and understand the needs of clients
Create and deliver ad sales presentations to clients
Present different ad options to clients, including images, designs, and font sizes
Keep abreast of changes within the publication’s demographics;
Excellent working knowledge of Google Docs
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, competitive, fast-paced environment.
Strong negotiation and customer service skills and professional demeanor.
