Clearing the Park

When the call came to help clear a beech tree that had fallen on a deer enclosure cage in Peninsula State Park, volunteers (left to right) Bill Schaars, Jon Viste, Gail Anderson, Jo Schaars, Pat Arnold, Jim Arnold, and Nick Anderson were quick to respond. The tree snapped in the Sept. 29 storm, crushing the fence that had stood since 1992.
