Clearing Winter Program Exhibit On Display

Everyone is invited to view The Clearing’s 2008 Winter Program exhibit of original works of art, fine crafts and other projects. The free public exhibit will be on display at the Sister Bay Town Hall beginning on Saturday, March 1 through Sunday, March 2 from 10 am – 4 pm.

Students and instructors can drop off items for the exhibit on Friday, February 29, from noon – 4 pm at the Sister Bay Town Hall. All items must be picked-up on Sunday, March 2 from 4 – 6 pm.

The Clearing’s 2008 Winter Program offered 120 classes in arts, fine crafts, natural sciences and humanities during January and February. Now in its 33rd year, this remarkable program is made possible through the contributions of an all-volunteer faculty who teach in the Clearing’s informal “folk school” tradition. Classes are held on The Clearing campus and in many homes and business locations throughout the county.
