Door County Art Scene: The Clearing’s Winter Program Student Exhibit

The Clearing is proud to present the work of its hundreds of Winter Program students during the Student Exhibit scheduled for Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1 at the Sister Bay Village Hall. The exhibit of original works of art, fine crafts and other projects will be available for viewing from 10 am – 4 pm each day. It is free and open to the public.

The Clearing’s 2008 Winter Program offered more than 120 classes in the arts, fine crafts, natural sciences and humanities during January and February. This remarkable annual program is made possible through the contributions of an all-volunteer faculty who teach in The Clearing’s informal hands-on folk school tradition. Classes are held on The Clearing campus in Ellison Bay and in some homes and business locations throughout the county.
