Clippers Bedevil Blue Devils in Boys Hoops

Sturgeon Bay’s boys basketball team led 30-21 at halftime Tuesday and went on to win in Packerland Conference action at home against Oconto, 74-58.

Calvin Richard led three Clippers in double figures with a game-high 30 points. Danny Lodl added 14 points, with Gannon Evers scoring 11 more.

The Blue Devils also had three players score in double figures led by Jackson Martin with 18 points, followed by Carter Koch with 13 points and Cooper Campshure with 11 more.

Sturgeon Bay, which improved to 5-4 in the conference and 8-8 overall, next plays a non-conference game Thursday at Manitowoc Roncalli before Saturday’s league contest at Peshtigo.
