Clippers Win Against Wolves in Boys Hoops

Sturgeon Bay’s boys basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak Friday with a 49-39 Packerland Conference victory at Algoma.

Gannon Evers led the Clippers with a game-high 19 points. Jackson Starr added 10 points.

The Wolves were led by Parker Lischka with 13 points and Cody Kirchman with 12 points.

Sturgeon Bay, which improved its season record to 5-5 overall and 3-2 in the Packerland, plays non-conference games Monday at Green Bay East and Thursday at Seymour, before hosting Friday’s Packerland game against Gibraltar.
