‘Clue’ Immersive Screening At Maxwelton Braes

Maxwelton Braes Lodge and Thyme Cuisine will host an immersive screening Nov. 3 of the cult classic Clue with seven suspects, six weapons and five dead bodies.

Upon arrival, each pre-registered guest will receive an envelope and the instruction to wander the halls of the lodge to find clues as to who has committed murder. Actors are sprinkled throughout with nods to the film and storyline. Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite character and act the part, as they could be deemed the killer.

After being primed for a murderous evening, attendees will take their seats and enjoy the film on a 15-foot screen with an intermission to include a cash bar and a special snack menu. Prizes are awarded to the best dressed in theme, with the culprit revealed at intermission. Karaoke with DJ Hope Reyes is available following the evening activities in the Thyme bar.

Tickets are available online at doorcountytickets.com. Tickets are $20 in advance and include the movie, a featured cocktail and cocktail hour snacks, and participation in the murder investigation. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $25. The night starts at 6:30 pm with a cocktail hour with the film starting at about 8 pm. Maxwelton Braes is also looking for a few actors interested in creating the Clue immersion. If you are interested email [email protected].
