Collaborative Sonatas Performed at Bjِrklunden

Lawrence University’s Bjِrklunden will host a free concert Sunday, April 4 at 1:30 pm, featuring Lawrence pianists and string players.

The musicians will join together in a concert of collaborative sonatas, following a weekend of intensive coaching by guest artist, Gilbert Kalish, who is pianist with New York’s prestigious Lincoln Center Chamber Players. Music by Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Prokofiev and others will be featured. The performance will be held in the serene surroundings of Bjِrklunden’s Vail Hall.
