Community Input Sought for Destination Door County Master Plan

Destination Door County (DDC) is seeking resident and stakeholder input to develop a Destination Master Plan.

The master plan will be built around the needs of residents, visitors and stakeholders ranging from tourism to economic development to county planning. The plan will be a strategic and actionable long-term planning document that identifies and articulates potential products, amenities, programming and experiences that will guide the long-term sustainability of Door County and its visitor economy.

It is critical for all voices to be heard, especially the voices of the community. Both full and part-time residents are urged to take the approximate 15-minute survey. Upon completion, respondents will be entered to win a Door County gift certificate for $100. Survey responses are anonymous, and email will not be used for any other purpose.

Residents seeking to complete the survey verbally can contact a destination specialist at 920.743.4456. Written copies of the survey are also available at the DDC welcome center at 1015 Green Bay Rd., Sturgeon Bay.

DDC is also looking for feedback from Door County civic leaders and stakeholders in tourism, business, education and government. This survey will take roughly 20 minutes and will serve as a report card for the health and benchmarking Door County as a destination.
