Concert With Washington Island Native

Pianist Jonathan Bass will play an evening concert Aug. 30, 7 pm at Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church. He will present a program of music by such masters as J. S. Bach, Cécile Chaminade, and Sergei Rachmaninoff. 

Bass is from Washington Island and a senior at Lawrence University in Appleton. He began his musical education on the island at age three, taking lessons from Diane Kahlscheuer. 

The concert is offered free to the public. Freewill offerings will be given to the performing artist.
