Congressional Art Competition Open through March 13

The 2020 Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students who live or attend school in Wisconsin’s 8th District.

The winning art piece will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year. The artwork of the next two runners-up will have their works displayed in Rep. Mike Gallagher’s district and Washington, D.C., offices. He will also post pictures of each entry on Facebook and give a People’s Choice Award to the entry that receives the most likes.

Artwork entered in the contest may be up to 26 inches by 26 inches in height and width and up to four inches in depth, and it must not weigh more than 15 pounds. The winning artwork must arrive framed and must still measure no larger than the stated maximum dimensions. Submissions may be dropped off at Gallagher’s district office in De Pere. The deadline is March 13.
