Contribute to the Local Lore of Jacksonport

The Jacksonport Historical Society will host a night of memories and local lore on May 27 at 7 pm at the Jacksonport Town Hall on County V. Whether you are new to the area or a long-time resident, you are welcome to share the history of our community through memories and photos. Maybe it’s a family wedding, farm life, cherry picking or a Sunday afternoon at the beach, these stories and pictures will be documented and added to the Jacksonport Historical Society’s photo collection. Participation will help the history of Jacksonport be preserved.

Come one, come all to share memories and photos. Refreshments will be served after the program. Admission is free but a donation is appreciated. Also, don’t forget to stop by the JHS booth at the Erskine Root Cellar during Maifest in Jacksonport, May 23 – 24.
