CROP Hunger Walk Also Benefits Local Food Pantries

On Oct. 5, the Sturgeon Bay CROP Hunger Walk will be held to show love and active concern for neighbors in need near and far.

CROP Hunger Walk funds will benefit the overall work and ministry of Church World Service – working around the world to provide self-help development programs and disaster relief. Twenty-five percent of what the walkers raise will help local food pantries Feed My People and Lakeshore CAP.

Registration begins at 9 am at Hope Church, 141 S. 12th Ave., Sturgeon Bay; the walk begins at 9:30 am. Walkers may also register online at cropwalkonline.org. To volunteer, contact Cal Holvenstot at 920.743.0189.
