Crossroads at Big Creek Nature Hike

Crossroads at Big Creek is taking advantage of the nice weather ahead with a nature hike. Join the naturalists in a gentle ramble through the Big Creek Preserve on June 3 at 4 pm. The wetland flowers should be in bloom. The hike is free and open to the public, and hikers should meet at the Collins Learning Center.

The Door Peninsula Astronomical Society welcomes all to their June 5 meeting at the Ray Stonecipher Astronomy Center, 2200 Utah Street in Sturgeon Bay. After a short business meeting, speaker Steve Ransom-Jones will talk on “Measuring Gravity: from Newton to LIGO.” The meeting starts at 7pm.

The Collins Learning Center, located at 2041 Michigan just east of the highway roundabout in Sturgeon Bay, is open 2-4 pm daily and during scheduled events.
