Curious George Visits Sturgeon Bay Library

Curious George, the impish monkey who’s been entertaining generations of young readers for decades, will be the featured guest at the Friends of Door County Libraries’ Annual Winter Children’s Party held Jan. 27, 12:30 – 2 pm in the Jane Greene Room at the Sturgeon Bay Library, 107 S. Fourth Ave.

Along with the appearance by Curious George (courtesy of a costume-wearing volunteer), there will be an afternoon full of monkeyshines fun designed for pre-school through primary-aged kids. In addition to several of the favorite stories to be read aloud by children’s librarian Beth Lokken, activities will include a variety of themed games and crafts, balloons and refreshments. There also will be a special opportunity for young guests to have their photo taken with George.

Everyone is welcome to this free event. For more information call 920.746.7119.
