DCA Presents Indigo Girls July 1

On Friday, July 1, at 8 p.m., iconic folk duo Indigo Girls will perform on the Door Community Auditorium (DCA) Main Stage. Special guest Lucy Wainwright Roche will open the show.

Over a 35-year career that began in clubs around their native Atlanta, Georgia, the Grammy-winning duo of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers has recorded sixteen studio albums (seven gold, four platinum, one double platinum), sold over 15 million records, and built a dedicated, enduring following with hits like “Closer to Fine” and “Galileo.” Their latest album, 2020’s critically acclaimed Look Long is a stirring and eclectic collection of songs that explores themes of hope, political divide, and family origins.

ABC News calls Indigo Girls “as magical as ever.”

Songwriter Lucy Wainwright Roche—of whom The Guardian writes “every note rings true”—will open the show.

Indigo Girls’ performance is made possible with support from supporting sponsors Alexander’s Restaurant, Door County Medical Center, Nicolet Bank, and White Gull Inn.

The show begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 1. Tickets range from $50 to $75. Visit the DCA website for more information about current Covid protocols.
