DCMM’s Wooden-Boat Raffle

Tickets are on sale for the Door County Maritime Museum’s (DCMM) annual wooden-boat raffle. The grand prize is the 16-foot, hand-built St. Lawrence river skiff, produced by the museum’s Wooden Boatbuilding instructors and class participants. It comes with hand-turned oars and a trailer provided by Skipper Bud’s Quarterdeck Marina. The skiff is on display at the museum.

First prize in the raffle is a clothing and jewelry package from O’Meara’s Irish House in Fish Creek, valued at more than $850. Second prize is a four-person golf package from Peninsula State Park Golf Course, a $250 value.

Tickets are $20 each or three for $50, and only 1,500 will be sold. The winning tickets will be drawn Oct. 19, 2 pm. All raffle proceeds benefit the museum’s mission to celebrate and preserve Door County’s maritime history.
