DCU Boys Second at Two Rivers Triangular

The Door County United (DCU) cooperative boys swimming team competed Thursday with five swimmers who won four events and placed second as a team at a triangular meet in Two Rivers.
Two Rivers topped the team standings with 117 points, followed by DCU (79) and Plymouth (55).
DCU’s Jack Monfils won both the 100-yard butterfly (59.22 seconds) and 200 individual medley (2:08.07).
Ezra Linnan was DCU’s other individual winner when he recorded a personal-best time in the 100 backstroke (1:04.7).
Linnan, Monfils, Luke Filar and George Atwell finished first in the 400 freestyle relay by 14 seconds.
Linnan, Monfils, Atwell and Logan Filar placed second in the 200 medley relay (1:51.76).
Luke Filar, Linnan, Atwell and Logan Filar finished second in the 200 freestyle relay (1:40.12).
Atwell added a second-place finish in the 200 freestyle (2:13.86).
Logan Filar finished runner-up in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.31) and 500 freestyle (5:58.73).
Luke Filar placed second in the 100 freestyle (57.31) and third in the 50 freestyle (25.51).
