Door County Folk Festival to Take Place July 6 – 10

The 2011 Door County Folk Festival (DCFF) will begin July 6 and continue through July 10. The 32nd Annual DCFF will continue a tradition of enjoyable events that include singing, learning, and sharing experiences in a community atmosphere.
The DCFF will offer a variety of dance workshops including ethnic folk dancing, Middle Eastern dancing, couple dancing, and contra/square dancing. Each evening will feature parties with live and recorded music in Sister Bay or Ephraim.
The event will also feature a pot-luck dinner at the Voyager Inn Motel on July 8 from 5:45 – 8 pm. DCFF participants will have an opportunity to relax, socialize and dine. There is no charge for this event; however, advance reservations and food/beverage contributions are required. For more information visit http://www.dcff.net/picnic.
On July 9, DCFF participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a Fish Boil Dinner in the Sister Bay Park at 6, 6:30, or 7 pm. Musicians are welcome to bring instruments.
