Door County Half Marathon Registration Opens Sept. 1

Registration for Door County’s biggest race of the year opens Sept. 1 with a special introductory price of $65 through Sept. 7. The Door County Half Marathon is expected to draw 2,500 runners to Peninsula State Park on Saturday, May 4, 2024, for a run on a closed-road course. 

All runners get a great race shirt and finisher’s medal, then after the race you they can celebrate with a free beer from One Barrel Brewing Company and live music from Open Tab at the postrace party at Nicolet Bay. 

The 13.1-mile race course takes runners past Eagle Bluff Lighthouse, stunning bluff-top water views, tranquil forests and the Lake Michigan shoreline for a race experience unlike any other. With amazing volunteers staffing eight aid stations and a race team that creates an event that runners call “one of the most well-organized runs in the country,” you’ll have a great experience, whether it’s your first race or your 20th.
