Half Marathon Registration Opens

The Door County Half Marathon and Nicolet Bay 5K will be back in Peninsula State Park on Saturday, May 6, 2023. 

Registration for the race opens Oct. 1. Fees for the race that’s been likened to “running in a cathedral in the woods” are $65 when you sign up in October, or $40 for the 5K. 

Run 13.1 miles on a USATF-certified course through picturesque woods, along the shoreline and atop the bluffs of the Niagara Escarpment in Peninsula State Park. Runners get a great race shirt, beer at the finish line and the knowledge that they’ve conquered Sven’s Bluff. 

The paved road course includes eight aid stations to help you get to the finish line, plus a team of pacers to help you hit your goal time. And to get you to the starting line on time, free shuttles are available from lodging sponsors and two park-and-ride locations.

Race participation is capped at 1,800 runners in the half marathon, and 800 in the Nicolet Bay 5K, so get in early to secure your spot at the lowest price.
