Cannella

Cannella is a curious cat, and that curiosity proved to be the reason for her surrender to the Humane Society in February 2012. She lived in Sturgeon Bay as an indoor/outdoor cat, but too often strayed onto neighbors’ properties, and her former owners brought the cat to the shelter.

Cannella is a 5-year-old lady of some girth and has been troubled with recurring urinary tract infections. The cattery coordinator and consulting veterinarians recommend surgery to correct this chronic problem in Cannella. An ongoing strict diet is also in Cannella’s future; losing weight will aid with her hygiene.

Donations to help offset the cost of Cannella’s vet care and post-op treatment are most appreciated; contributions are tax-deductible. Adoption costs are $90 for cats and $150 for dogs. All animals are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped.
