Dr. Melissa Nelson Shares her Adventures with Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers

On March 6 at 7 pm, Dr. Nelson will share her adventures of traveling around the world with the Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers. Nelson will provide a glimpse into the Grandmothers’ communities with a film and a slideshow of pictures collected over the last seven years. Included in the presentation are many of the teachings, prayers and prophesies of these Indigenous elders.

Nelson most recently returned from a trip to Kathmandu, accompanying the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers to honor their 12th Council gathering in Nepal, the homeland of Grandmother Aama Bombo.
