Eagles 1-1 at Cedarburg Boys Hoops Tourney

Southern Door’s boys basketball team lost its first game and won the second at last weekend’s tournament at Cedarburg.

On Friday, the Eagles fell to Cedarburg, 68-60. 

Drew Daoust led the Eagles with a game-high 29 points, which included five 3-pointers. Taylor Schaefer added 14 points.

Southern Door closed out the tournament Saturday winning 80-56 over Destiny.

Daoust tallied 42 points with five more baskets behind the arc, while Caden Pierre added 10 points.

The Eagles, who are 4-3 overall and 2-1 in the Packerland Conference, host a league game Tuesday against Sturgeon Bay before a home non-conference contest Dec. 23 against Crivitz.
