Early Thomas

Indie rocker Early Thomas is a multi-talented musician, playing all of the instruments heard in his songs, including rhythm and lead guitars, mandolin, bass, keyboards and hip-hop samples. He’s made a name for himself with his vibrant stage presence and intense live shows, which lean heavy on rock and roll while dabbling a bit in funk and folk. A reporter for the New York Post said of Thomas, “I like the fact that his songs are simple and brutally honest, there is no BS or posing, just good melodies and in your face Rock and Roll.”

Thomas has produced five independent albums since his days as front-man for the critically-acclaimed Soul Patrol, which disbanded in 1996; these include Sugar (2003), Pacifico (2004), Subterranean Exile (2005) and Year Of The Lion (2005), all with TCS Records. His latest album, Little Bent Trees, came out in 2008 and has met with great success, described on his myspace page as “ear splitting neo punk to Alt country goodness.”
