Ecological, Responsible and Sustainable Farming Presentation

Jerry Brunetti, internationally recognized lecturer and speaker, will be featured in two lectures in Green Bay on April 10. Brunetti is an expert in exploring the relationships between soil and animal health, and by extension, human health.

After witnessing first-hand the devastating results of conventional, chemically dependent, grain-based farming practices, Brunetti embarked on a systems approach to educate and consult for farmers who made the wise choice to transition to ecologically responsible, sustainable farming.

Dr. Silvia Abel-Caines from Organic Valley will join Brunetti at the events. As a staff veterinarian for Organic Valley, Dr. Abel-Caines has much experience in holistic animal health and in animal nutrition.

The animal and soils meeting will be held from 10 am – 3 pm on April 10 with the human health and nutrition meeting taking place that evening from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. The event will take place at NWTC in Green Bay and costs $25 per person for the day session, $10 for the evening session, or $30 for the whole day. A noon meal will be served at the day session.
